This website is designed to be an information resource for those looking for natural skincare and haircare products.
By accessing and using this website, you are agreeing to be bound by these website Terms and Conditions of Use, all applicable laws and regulations, and agree that you are responsible for compliance with any applicable local laws. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this site. The materials contained in this website are protected by applicable copyright and trademark law.

6. Orders, Payments and Refunds
Art of Handmade allows customers to order products via the shopping cart. We provide an online debit/credit card payment or manual payment via bank transfer. We will request payment via cash, cheque or online banking to Art of Handmade account. Once payment has been made and verified we will send you the product in a timely manner.
By submitting an order and proceeding through the booking process you are making an offer to purchase goods which, if accepted, will result in a binding contract. Neither submitting an order nor completing the booking process constitutes acceptance of your order.
No order shall be deemed to be accepted until an email acceptance of order has been issued from our Site. The contract will relate only to those items notified in the email acceptance of order.
Orders will have prices displayed including GST. All transactions are completed and charged in New Zealand Dollars.
Whilst we attempt to display the colours of the product listings as accurately as possible on the Site we cannot guarantee that the colour you see matches the actual product colour, as the colour displayed depends, in part, upon the monitor used by you.
Pricing errors may occur on the Site from time to time. Art of handmade attempts to correct all pricing errors as soon as they are discovered, or as soon as we receive notice of an error. We reserve the right to cancel any orders containing pricing errors, with no further obligations to you, even after your receipt of an order confirmation from our Site. Any payments you make to us for orders that are cancelled due to pricing errors will be refunded. Other refunds requests due to customer error may or may not result with a refund fee being charged to the customer. Art of Handmade reserves the right to charge that fee to the customer if the error is from the customer's side.
7. Delivery
Your shopping basket on the Site displays the products including the delivery charge. The delivery cost varies according to the destination you choose to have the item delivered to and the delivery method(s) on offer. Individual delivery charges will be advised in our responding email to confirm your order details. Shipping cost may change depending on the delivery company rates for postage. Delivery timeframe estimate is displayed at Checkout and varies depending on your preferred delivery method. Please note that during NZ Post busy seasons, natural disaster or circumstances beyond their control may or may-not delay your package delivery timeframe.
8. GST and other taxes
The price stated for any goods or services offered on the Site for delivery within New Zealand is inclusive of any GST or other tax as applicable.
9. International Sales, Duty and Import Regulations
Products ordered from our Site for delivery outside New Zealand may be subject to import duties and taxes which are levied when the delivery reaches your specified destination. We have no involvement with these charges nor can we advise you of their likely cost. If you are in any doubt we suggest that before placing your order you speak to your local customs office to find out more. You are responsible for payment of any such import duties and taxes.
10. Governing Law
Any claim relating to Art of Handmade' website shall be governed by the laws of the Country of New Zealand without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
11. Consumer Guarantees Act
This Agreement does not seek to exclude any rights you may have under the Consumer Guarantees Act or other applicable legislation which may apply to purchases of any goods or services that you order using the Site.
To the extent permitted by law, business customers agree that where products are purchased for the purpose of a business that the Consumer Guarantees Act or equivalent consumer protection legislation does not apply.
12. Testimonial Disclaimer
Customers testimonial reflect their own individual opinions and experiences with the product. We do not advertise or claim our products as a cure for any disease or ailment unless specified in the product descriptions.
13. Prize Draw / Competitions
Art of Handmade reserves the right to exclude an entry if we have reason to believe the entry is fraudulent or does not meet the criteria of the prize draw or competitions held. Prizes will be display/announced before hand unless the criteria of the promotion / prize draw / competition is set upon certain aspects. e.g mystery prize box.
